Description

Prior’s Cottage and Prior’s Little Cottage form an L-shaped group of 18th-century cottages located on Church Street in Heathfield. The cottages have two storeys and six windows. The ground floor is built of red brick with grey headers on a stone base, while the upper floor is faced with weatherboarding. The roof is hipped and tiled. The south-east wing has casement windows, while the north-west wing has sash windows, retaining their original glazing bars. Number 6 and Number 7 each have doorways with flat hoods above them.
