Description

This is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building, subsequently refaced with alternating red brick and grey headers. It has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. The building is two stories high with six windows. A brick buttress is located at the east end of the front façade. A doorway features a moulded stone surround with a cornice above, supported by console brackets surmounted by two ball finials. The building was formerly known as Nos 1 and 2 Church Gate Cottages.
