Description

Butt's Cottage, also known as Cobweb Castle, is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of Uckfield High Street. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features three windows and two dormers. The exterior is stuccoed and includes a dentilled eaves cornice and a tiled roof, with intact glazing bars. The building has a pair of doorways adorned with fluted Doric columns, a joint entablature that includes a triglyph frieze, segmental fanlights, and six-panel doors. Additionally, there is one window bay added at the south end, which has a slate roof.
