Description

Rockville is an early 19th century building on the west side of Uckfield High Street. It is a two-storey structure, originally stuccoed, and has an eaves cornice. The roof is now covered with modern concrete tiles. The original glazing bars remain intact. The doorway features fluted Doric columns, a triglyph frieze, a segmental fanlight, and a six-panelled door. This building is recognised for its group value and contributes to the character of the street.
