Description

The Mount is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of Uckfield High Street. It stands two storeys tall and features four windows. The exterior is stuccoed, with the ground floor having a rusticated finish. The central portion of the building projects slightly, and it has an eaves cornice and a slate roof. The glazing bars are intact, and the central window bay also projects slightly, while the northernmost window bay is recessed. The doorway is adorned with Doric columns, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door with six fielded panels.
