Description

Rose Cottage, dated 1845, is likely a genuine 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that was restored and refaced at that time. The cottage features red brick infilling, with the southern half entirely made of brick. It has a timbered gable at the north end and includes one gabled dormer. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows throughout. A gabled porch adds to its charm. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows visible from the front. Rose Cottage is included for its group value.
