Description

This is a customary cottage, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed building, with timberwork of ornamental character. The north gable end displays the original timbering and plaster infill, while the rest of the house has been refaced with painted brick. The roof is slate-covered, and it features horizontally-sliding sash windows. The cottage is two storeys high with three windows facing the street.
