Description
Colin Godman's Farmhouse is an unusual small 16th century timber-framed house built around an internal courtyard. It has two storeys and features two of three windows on each front. The west and south fronts are made of ashlar, while the east front is partly stone, partly brick, and partly timbered. The north front has ashlar on the ground floor and is timbered above. On the right side of the first floor, there are two small panels with diamond-shaped timber ornamentation and brick infilling. The windows are casement style, and the roof is mostly covered with Horsham slabs, although some areas have tiles. Inside, there are ceiling beams and open fireplaces.
