Penfolds is an L-shaped building dating from the late 18th century. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The structure is constructed of red brick and has a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is double hipped, with an angle between the two sections that creates a somewhat mansard effect. The glazing bars are intact, and the doorway is adorned with pilasters, heavy console brackets, and a door made up of six fielded panels.
