Description

Portmansford Farmhouse is a building constructed in two sections. The eastern half dates from the early 17th century and features a timber frame with brick nogging and some plaster infilling on the first floor, while the ground floor is refaced in ashlar. It has a tiled roof and casement windows, and it stands two storeys tall with two windows. The western half was built in the 19th century, also two storeys high with two windows, and is made of red brick with a tiled roof. This section includes sash windows with vertical glazing bars.
