Description
The Monastery Guest House, located at 6 High Street, is an 18th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic. It has two windows and one blocked space, constructed from red brick. The structure includes a wooden string course and a parapet, with one dormer present. The glazing bars are missing. The entrance consists of a round-headed doorway with a plain semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel moulded door. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 6, 7, 7A, and Nos 9 to 17 in succession, as well as the gate piers, The Old Coach House, a gazebo in the garden of No 11, and the Rye Working Men's Conservative Club.
