Description

The Parish Church of St Michael is a Grade I listed building located on Penhurs Lane in Penhurst. It features a chancel, north chapel, nave, south porch, and a west tower, with the upper part of the tower being tile-hung and topped with a pyramidical tiled roof. The chancel and nave date back to the 14th century, while the tower was built in the 15th century, and the north chapel and porch were added in the 17th century. Inside, there are box-pews and panelling. This church is an attractive, unrestored example of a small country church.
