Description

The Monks Cottage is a building from the 18th century located on the south side of Upper Lake in Battle. It has two storeys and features four windows. The structure is primarily made of red brick, with Nos 21 and 22 also incorporating grey headers. There is a painted stringcourse and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and most of the glazing bars are missing. The doorways are topped with flat hoods supported by brackets.
