Description
Nos 22 and 23 Lion Street comprise two 18th-century buildings. No 22 is a two-storey building with four windows, rendered in stucco, and has a mansard tiled roof. It features a modern shop front. No 23 incorporates the rear portion of No 8 Market Street and exhibits a lower facade. This building is two storeys and has two windows, featuring painted brickwork and a parapet. It has a tiled roof, and the glazing bars have been lost. A doorway is framed with fluting and a small flat hood, and it too has a modern shop front.
