Description

Woodside is a building dating from around 1790, situated on the north side of Main Street in Peasmarsh. It stands three storeys high and is faced with buff mathematical tiles, topped by a hipped tiled roof. The windows retain their original glazing bars. The entrance features a porch supported by twin Doric columns and a fluted frieze. The doorway is set within a moulded architrave surround and has a door with six moulded panels. To the east of the ground floor, there is an additional room with a splayed end. Notably, the back part of the house is older than the rest. The interior is described as being of good quality.
