Tanhouse is an 18th-century building located on Tanhouse Lane in Peasmarsh. It is two storeys high and features four windows, with the northernmost window-bay being an addition. The exterior is weather-boarded, and it has a tiled roof. The building has casement windows and a doorway that is framed by a moulded architrave surround, topped with a pediment.
