Description

The former Battle Primary School, dating from the mid to late 19th century, is constructed of red brick featuring a diaper pattern of grey headers. The building has three windows and three shaped gables, with the central gable rising to two storeys while the outer gables are single storey. There are two porches located between the gables, each topped with smaller shaped gables. The windows are casement style, set within cemented surrounds that have decorative scrolls above them.
