Description

Ferry Cottage is a late 18th century to early 19th century cottage that stands at one storey and features two windows. The exterior is finished with tarred weather boarding and has a tiled roof. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars. Adjacent to the cottage is a slipway that was once used for the ferry boat; it is now utilized, along with several others, for ship repairing and is separated from the cottage by a wall. The cottage is listed for its historic and social interest.
