Description

The premises on the north corner of The Strand at its junction with the west side of Wish Ward, formerly known as Stonham's Offices, date from the 18th century or early 19th century. The building features two windows and is finished in stucco with a slate roof. The glazing bars are intact, and there are contemporary shop fronts with a central doorway. This doorway has a rectangular fanlight above it, featuring semi-circular glazing bars. There is another narrow doorway around the corner in Wish Ward, framed with a plain rectangular fanlight above. An addition to the west has painted weatherboarding that curves around the southwest corner of the building, topped with a parapet and featuring one window.
