Description

1 and 2 Clare House and C Leach greengrocer, located on Church Street in Ticehurst, is an L-shaped building dating from around 1830. It stands two storeys tall and features three windows. The front is finished with stucco, while the north wall is constructed of red brick with grey headers. Pilasters are positioned on either side of each wing of the east front. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, while the upper windows are set in moulded architrave surrounds and retain their glazing bars.
