Description

Northgate House, formerly known as Old Timbers, is a building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. Originally a house and shop, it has since been converted into a single dwelling. The structure features a timber frame, which has been refronted with brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above; both surfaces are now painted and there is a slight bellcast between them. The north and south walls are plastered, and the building has a hipped tiled roof. It includes casement windows, spans two storeys with an attic, and has four windows along with two hipped dormers.
