Description

The Village Stores and Duke of York is a building from the 18th century located on Church Street and High Street in Ticehurst. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring six windows and four dormers. The exterior is made of painted brick with a parapet and a mansarded tiled roof. The former hotel section retains its glazing bars. There are two doorways, each topped with gabled tiled hoods. The supermarket part of the building has a modern shop front and two small bays above it.
