Description
The Signal Box at Plumpton Railway Station is a Grade II listed building, contemporary with the railway station itself. It is a well-preserved example of a small signal box from the mid-19th century, featuring two storeys constructed of red brick. The building has an eaves bracket cornice and a hipped slate roof topped with a central finial. On the first floor, there are horizontally-sliding sash windows, with three facing north and south and two facing east and west.
