Description

The Hay Barn is an 18th-century, three-bay open-sided structure featuring a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The upright posts of the barn have curved jowls. Inside, there are angled queen struts, staggered purlins, and originally curved tension braces connecting to the tie beam. The wall frame is supported by diagonal tension braces.
