Description

This ice house, dating from the early 19th century, is a circular beehive-shaped chamber. The upper part is constructed in English bond, while the lower part is in header bond. It measures approximately 10 feet across and features a 2-foot aperture in the roof. There is a 20th-century access tunnel made of brick with a concrete roof.
