Description

No 73 on High Street is a building dating from around 1810. It is a tall, narrow structure with four storeys and one window wide. The ground floor features a late 19th-century shop front with a central entrance. Above, the first and second floors have a splayed bay of casement windows with glazing bars, and there are iron grilles on the centre lights. The third floor has a modern casement window with leafed panes. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, while the rear of the building is tile-hung. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along High Street, extending up to No 118.
