Description
No. 7 Marine Parade is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, with an attic and a semi-basement featuring an area. The façade is stuccoed and includes two windows. A notable feature is the curved bay window, which has three lights and is present on the basement, ground, and first floors, topped with a cornice. There is an iron balcony on the first floor, complete with a hood above it. On the second floor, there are two small modern bay windows that extend out on brackets. The building has a parapet and one modern dormer, while the red tiled roof adds to its character. The glazing bars remain intact in the bow windows. Access to the building is via a doorway that is reached by five steps, flanked by Doric pilasters. The doorway features a rectangular fanlight and a six-panel moulded door.
