Description

The Belle Vue Hotel, Miramar Hotel, and Queen’s Mansions date to the mid-19th century and were built in the Regency style. The building is constructed of stucco, with four storeys and a semi-basement. It has a 3:6:3 window arrangement, followed by three bays with single windows, all with flat arches. Balconettes of iron are present on the first-floor windows. A cornice runs below the fourth storey, except where it has been replaced by a band in the middle. The building is topped with a parapet. The ground floor and basement are rusticated, and the ground floor windows are round-arched, as are the entrances. A wooden and glass porch is situated on the ground floor, and the bays continue as a facade to the right.
