Description

The Barker tomb, located 9 metres northeast of the chancel of the Church of St. James, is a low chest tomb made of plain stone. It features a large surrounding ground stone slab and a T-shaped palisade with spear top railings and scrolled support brackets at intervals. There is also an iron entrance gate that matches the palisade, situated at the west end.
