Description

2 to 11 Clarence Crescent is a group of early 19th century villas, likely dating around 1840. Originally detached, some have since been linked by infilling. The villas are stucco-faced and each has three windows. They are two storeys high and feature quoin pilasters, a string course, and moulded flat eaves. The roofs are slate, with a low pitch, and are hipped. Ground floor windows have balconettes. Each villa has a pillared porch with a deep entablature and steps leading up to it. The windows are glazing bar sashes or marginal glazed casements. Number 2 has tent-shaped leaded hoods over its ground floor windows.
