Description

The granary at Stroud Farm, located approximately 15 metres west of Stroud Farmhouse, is a building likely dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame construction that is weatherboarded, topped with an old tile half-hipped roof. The granary has a nearly square plan and was originally raised on 16 staddle stones, of which only 7 remain today. Access to the interior is via 4 concrete steps leading to the floor level, where some wooden bins can still be found. This structure is included for its group value within the farm complex.
