Description

This is a statue of Diana located at Hall Place, approximately 500 metres north of the main house. It dates from the early 18th century and was likely erected by Sir Jacob Bancks. The statue features a square brick base and a square column that has a moulded base and raised panels on the lower part. The west face of the column displays the arms of the Bancks family. Atop the column is a small lead figure of Diana, accompanied by a stag on a moulded base.
