Description
Stevens Obelisk is located approximately 30 metres to the east of the north aisle chapel of the Church of St. Andrew in Bradfield. This obelisk, dating from 1773, is constructed of ashlar stone. It features a pedestal with recessed corners, a moulded base, and a cornice, topped by the obelisk itself. On the west side, there is a carved coat of arms. An inscription on the obelisk states: "Underneath lie the remains of Henry Stevens Lord of the Manor, son of Mr. Thomas Stevens."
