Description
A group of five chest tombs is located about 15 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary. These tombs date from the late 18th century to the late 19th century.
Tomb A is from the early 19th century and is made of ashlar, featuring fluted corner balusters and a flat top. Tomb B, dated 1849, is also made of ashlar and has a moulded top. Tomb C, from 1886, is constructed of ashlar with a moulded base, battered sides, and a dentil cornice. Tomb D dates to the late 18th century and is made of ashlar, featuring a moulded base and top with recessed panels. Finally, Tomb E, dated 1785, is made of marble and has a moulded top and base, recessed panels with corner balusters, and incised lining.
