Description

Alma Cottage and Alma Lodge is a house that has been divided into two homes, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features painted brick and timber framing with brick nogging, and has a tiled roof that is hipped forward to the right. The building is in an L shape and has two storeys with all casement windows. The left side has a lobby entrance with two framed bays and two casements on each floor, along with a blocked central door and a stack on the ridge above. The right side has a cross wing that projects and includes one casement on each floor. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch on the left with a parapet, and a stack is centrally located on the ridge.
