Description

77 Northbrook Street is an early 19th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The exterior is made of painted brick and includes a moulded eaves cornice. The recessed sash windows have gauged flat brick arches and glazing bars, while the first-floor windows are set in arched recesses. A modern shop front has been added. In the mid-19th century, this building housed the Newbury Magistrate's Office, as noted on the Doric map of 1849.
