Description

The May Tomb, located approximately 15 metres to the southeast of the Church of St. Mark, is a chest tomb dating from 1754. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and top, with shaped corner balusters and panelled sides. The tomb is inscribed in memory of Lucy, the daughter of James and Ann Lucy May, who passed away on April 28, 1754, at the age of 3 years and 9 months.
