Description
The Sherwood Tomb, located approximately 2 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary, is a chest tomb dating from 1811. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and top, with fluted corners and panelled sides. The tomb bears an inscription that reads: "sacred to the memory of Edward Sherwood."
