Description
This barn, located to the south-east of South Cottage at Pound's Farm, dates from the late 18th century. It features weatherboard cladding on a timber frame, with a brick plinth and a corrugated iron roof. The roof is hipped and sweeps over a central entry. The barn consists of five bays and aisles, supported by queen post trusses that have reducing principals and clasped purlins. Some wind bracing is still present.
