Description
Latimer House, built around 1835, is now divided into flats. It has two storeys and a basement, with a stuccoed exterior and a slate roof. The building features a large semi-circular bow at the center, which extends the full height and is flanked by pilasters. There are panelled pilasters at the corners of the house and stringcourses between the floors. A cornice runs around the bow. The front elevation has five windows, three of which are located in the bow, while the side elevation has four windows separated by pilasters. The entrance door, located in the center of the bow on the ground floor, is approached by three stone steps that follow the curve of the bow. The door is a good six-panelled contemporary design with a fanlight above and panelled reveals. The property is also enclosed by cast iron area railings.
