Description

Mans Bridge is a late 18th-century structure located on Mansbridge Road in Swaythling. It features a single segmental arch made of tooled stone with a 'lamb's wool pattern'. At road level, there is a stringcourse, and the bridge has a projecting keystone. The solid balustrade has rounded coping that sweeps out at each end to circular piers, which are topped with conical, slightly projecting capping.
