Description
This drinking fountain, located near the Windsor Castle Public House, was erected in 1887 to commemorate the Jubilee. Built by masons Garret and Hayson, it features a stone animal trough that supports the drinking fountain. The fountain is adorned with lion's head masks and is supported by four polished granite columns. At the top, there is a finial surmounted by a crown, which bears the inscription "She wrought her people lasting good."
