Description
The Island Platform Building, located approximately 25 metres north of Slough Station's booking hall, booking office, and travel centre, was built around 1882. It is constructed of red brick, featuring grey brick and stone lacing courses and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building is a single storey and has segmental headed doors and windows. There are canopies on the north and south sides that extend to the west, supported by fluted cast iron columns. This building is included for its group value.
