Description
The Rose and Crown Public House and Tony's Grill Cafe is a café and public house located on the south side of High Street in Slough. The building is constructed of rendered brick and features a hipped old tile roof alongside a 20th-century tile roof. It stands two storeys tall with a coped parapet. There is an end stack to the left, a ridge stack off-centre to the right, and a stack at the rear on the right side.
The café section has two bays with glazing bar sashes that have segmental heads. The ground floor features a 20th-century shop front with plate glass windows and a half-glazed door located off-centre to the right. The public house section has three bays, also with glazing bar sashes and segmental heads. The central bay on the first floor is blank and displays a sign. There is a central half-glazed door with a three-light overlight, flanked by reeded pilaster strips and a flat hood supported by cut brackets. Additionally, there is a later half-glazed door to the left.
