Description

This is a chest tomb dated 1714, located approximately 13 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Laurence. It is constructed of ashlar and features two field panels on each side and one at each end. The tomb has corner pilasters with fielded panels and a moulded top that includes a carved heraldic device. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the Body of SARUI the Daughter of Samuel Greenhill of Harrow in the County of Middx Gent wife of ROBERT STYLE of Iver Pasonage in this County. She died Sep 18th 1716. Aged 28 years."
