2/4 Coach House And Adjoining Outbuilding Approximately 10 Metres To North-west Of Baylis House (q.v.)

Coach house and outbuilding. Coach house: mid to late C18. Red brick with stone dressings, and interlocking tiled roof, hipped to rear. One storey. Gauged brick arches, pilaster strips, plat band, coped parapet to left, and triangular pedimented gable to right with moulded wooden eaves cornice and blocked circular window in tympanum.2 bays. 2 pairs of large boarded doors, that to left has depressed relieving arch with impost blocks and keystone. Outbuilding: late C18. Red brick with stone dressings and interlocking tiled roof. One storey. Gauged brick window head, and open triangular pedimented gable to front with blocked circular window in tympanum. One round arched casement to front. Short linking wall to right with coped parapet and boarded door. Wall pier adjoining to left of grey brick with red dressings and moulded stone coping. Included for group value. V.C.H.
