Description
Nos 89 to 93 on London Street are early to mid-19th century buildings. They stand three storeys high, constructed of red brick with a yellow brick eaves course, topped by an old tile roof featuring two chimneys. Number 93 has a later 19th-century yellow brick facade, with cement quoins, dressings, and a cornice at the parapet. Each building has two ranges of cross-glazed sash windows. Nos 89 and 91 retain features of later 19th-century shops, while No 93 has a late 19th-century shop front with panelled pilasters and a central entrance, where the shop windows are recessed, supported by two decorative cast-iron columns.
