Description

This building, located on the south-east corner of Yieldhall Lane, is part of the George Hotel and dates from the early 19th century, with some alterations. It has two storeys and garrets, constructed of red brick with a mansard tile roof, featuring a large ridge chimney and three roof lights. The façade includes four ranges of late 19th-century sash windows and two blocked doorways. The ground floor openings have segmental arches, with one door being arched, and are accented with grey brick headers. This building is included for its group value, particularly for the views from Minster Street.
