Description
This is a terrace of six houses, built between 1813 and 1819 by Richard Billing senior. They are located on the west side of Southampton Street. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement, constructed of brick with a moulded stucco cornice and blocking course, and have a nipped slate roof. The terrace is symmetrical, with a break in the design for the central house. The windows are mostly glazing bar sash windows, except for those on the second floor of number 96, which have easements. Number 92-96 comprise two bays. There are steps leading to a panelled front door, which is recessed and has an arched radiating fanlight above. Contemporary railings enclose the steps.
