Description
South Medina Farmhouse is a house built around 1840, constructed from flint with a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The building has two storeys and features two bays. The corners of the house have quoins, and the windows and door dressings are made with both long and short stonework.
At the center of the facade is a 20th-century recessed door with a blinded fanlight, which is set under a round stone arch. On either side of the door, there are two 20th-century French casement windows, each with eight panes, positioned under cambered stone arches. A cast-iron verandah with trellis supports and cresting runs across the front of the house, topped with a tented roof. The first floor has two sash windows with 16 panes each. At the time of the survey, the supports for the verandah had been removed for repairs. The interior was not inspected.
